Implementation of the coronavirus measures at Sindibaba

Behind the scenes!

From the lives of our stuffed animals in times of COVID-19

How our crochet animals deal with the new rules of conduct

With the spread of the coronavirus in Germany, the German government has adopted a series of rules of conduct and measures. In particular, social contacts are to be reduced to a minimum. Difficult times in which you have to be careful that the ceiling doesn’t fall on your head. Difficult times not only for members of the Homo Sapiens species, but also for our beloved stuffed animals.
Their everyday lives have also changed dramatically since the new rules of conduct were adopted and, at the latest, with the social distancing regulation.
In this blog post, we would like to give you a look behind the scenes at how life at Sindibaba is currently shaping up in times of COVID-19.

Parents

For life partners like our two monkeys dad CHARLIE and mom LUCY, nothing will change at home for the time being.
They can continue to live together without any protective masks.

Grandfather

However, visits to Grandpa CHARLIE Sr. are no longer permitted until further notice.
The whole family is suffering as a result, especially the grandfather, who has been home alone for almost two weeks now.
And above all because he no longer gets to see his two grandchildren LUCY Junior and CHARLIE Junior.
Although this is very bitter for everyone at the moment, it is good for Grandpa’s health in the long term.
That’s why dad CHARLIE and mom LUCY visit him from time to time to check on him and keep him company

Children

Meanwhile, CHARLIE Junior and LUCY Junior only play with the ball at home in the garden since the city council closed the public playgrounds and schools.
They are no longer allowed on the street or in stores to protect the adults.
But walks in the woods at the weekend are still allowed – but only if accompanied by mom or dad.

As you can see, our stuffed animals have also internalized the new behavioural recommendations and hope to make their small contribution to ensuring that this pandemic passes us by as quickly as possible.
