This cute crochet music box bird enchants by form and material. The winding cord for the musical mechanism is elaborately hidden in a crocheted sheath. As the bird is reared, the gentle sounds of Johannes Brahms’ lullaby “Guten Abend, Gute Nacht…” are heard, the outer material is crocheted from pure cotton and filled with a fluffy padding of polyester wool. At its upper end the songbird is provided with two likewise crocheted bands, with which the bird can be tied almost everywhere for hanging up. Always knot tightly – and best of all twice!
The rustic-looking but very soft crochet structure is particularly grippy and can be easily grasped and enclosed by baby’s little fingers. With its child-friendly shape, friendly facial features and soothing melody, it quickly finds its way into a child’s heart.
